The 鈥楽upporting families in the foundation years鈥� document is for all those who commission, lead and deliver services for:

  • mothers and fathers during pregnancy
  • children up to the age of 5

It describes the system we need to create in order to support families in the foundation years effectively. It was developed jointly by the Department for Education and the Department of Health

The 鈥楩amilies in the foundation years: evidence pack鈥� sets out the the evidence we used to formulate our foundation years policy.
