We were asked about the costs of staff travel, accommodation, food and drink from May 2009 until May 2010.
This is shown in the table below splitting out the cost of travel, accommodation and subsistence for each month. We cannot split the subsistence into food and drink as our records are not kept in this way, and subsistence covers a small allowance for personal incidental expenditure when staff are away for more than 24 hours. Subsistence claims are made by staff who have to travel to attend meetings or to travel between our Cardiff and London offices to carry out their duties, and covers claims for food and soft drinks only.
