This standard rules permit allows you to operate a waste facility transferring a range of non-hazardous wastes. These rules also allow storage of asbestos, batteries, cable and waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).听听
You can apply for this standard rules permit if:听

your activity meets the rules set out in the permit听

you can manage the potential risks as set out in the generic risk assessment听
The charges for applying for this standard rules permit are:听

拢3,926 for a new standard rules permit application听

拢792 for a minor variation to the permit听

拢2,529 to transfer the permit听

拢1,585 to surrender the permit听
There is also an annual subsistence charge of 拢2,875 for the standard rules permit.听

If you cannot comply with the new standard rules permit you will need to apply to vary your permit鈥痠nto a bespoke permit. You must apply within 3 months of the date the standard rules was published (18 December 2024).
