This report sets out the findings of the commissioner鈥檚 review of the leadership necessary for securing and sustaining improvement in Solihull, focusing on all 3 lead safeguarding partners:

It makes recommendations for the improvement of children鈥檚 social care services in Solihull to:

- Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council
- Solihull Local Safeguarding Children鈥檚 Partnership

- a statutory direction to Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council issued in November 2022
- an published in January 2023 that judged services to be inadequate
