This report was commissioned as part of the outcome of the 鈥淓nding the proliferation of deferred small pension pots鈥� consultation. The Small Pots Delivery Group, made up of pensions and other relevant sector stakeholders, met frequently with DWP between February and October 2024 to discuss the policy design choices relating to the implementation of the Multiple Default Consolidator solution. The Group has made a number of recommendations that are outlined in this report which the government has carefully considered and responded to.
