This Framework Document has been agreed between the Secretary of State for Defence (the 鈥淪hareholder鈥�) and Sheffield Forgemasters International Ltd (the 鈥淐ompany鈥�) in accordance with the guidance set out in HM Treasury鈥檚 handbook Managing Public Money (as updated from time to time) and has been approved by HM Treasury.

The Framework Document sets out the broad governance framework within which the Company and the Shareholder operate, including:

  • the Company鈥檚 core responsibilities;
  • the governance and accountability framework that applies between the Shareholder and the Company;
  • how the day-to-day relationship works in practice, including in relation to governance and financial matters.
