This is the sixth paper in the UK government鈥檚 Scotland analysis series and looks at:

  • how the UK and Scotland benefit from an integrated approach to defence
  • the UK鈥檚 international defence alliances and relationships
  • the opportunities for the UK鈥檚 defence industry that a single, UK wide, domestic defence market and exports provides

The paper also looks at the possible consequences for Scotland, if it were no longer part of the UK.
