Safety tech providers deliver products and services that enable safer online experiences for citizens.
The independent report, 鈥楾he UK Safety Tech Sector: 2023 Analysis鈥� provides key metrics on UK safety tech sector growth, building on the framework provided by the 2022, 2021 and 2020 reports. Key findings highlighted in the report include:
- 20% annual rise in sector revenue, to 拢456 million, and still predicted to hit 拢1 billion in the mid-2020s
- 16% annual rise in sector employment, to 3,300 FTE employees
- 51% of safety tech firms based outside London
- 54% of UK safety tech firms with an export presence.
- Investment performance has remained consistent with the previous year, generating 拢64 million across 16 deals in 2022, and 拢63 million across 16 deals in 2021
