Safer Streets Fund round 4 application process

Details

Round 4 (running across the 2022/23 and 23/24 financial years and worth 拢75 million) of the Safer Streets Fund will fund initiatives that will combine and expand previous focuses of the Safer Streets Fund and SWaN Fund through targeting neighbourhood crime, VAWG and anti-social behaviour, in areas across England and Wales disproportionately and persistently impacted by these crime types/issues.

The main aims of the fund are to:

  • reduce neighbourhood crime: domestic burglary, robbery, theft from person, vehicle crime
  • reduce anti-social behaviour
  • reduce VAWG in public spaces (including the night-time economy)
  • increase feelings of safety from VAWG and ASB in public places
  • a combination of the above

The fund will be open to:

  • Police and Crime Commissioners
  • Local authorities
  • The British Transport Police
  • Eligible Civil Society Organisations
