The Department for Transport鈥檚 (DfT) refreshed road safety statement and 2 year action plan addresses road safety issues throughout the lifetime of roads users, from babies to the elderly.

We will focus our work particularly on the needs of 4 vulnerable road user groups:

  • young road users
  • rural road users
  • motorcyclists
  • older road users
