Details
This revised direction requires that the council continues to improve its children鈥檚 social care services.
It follows an that judged the overall effectiveness of those services to be inadequate.
An independent report by the Commissioner for Children鈥檚 Services in Worcestershire recommended that the council should work with the commissioner and Department for Education to develop an alternative way to provide children鈥檚 services.
This direction replaces the earlier statutory direction, issued to the council in March 2017.
