Review of Tier 1 (General) settlement refusals
The Home Office has published a review of settlement applications by Tier 1 (General) migrants, which found refusals under paragraph 322(5) were correct.

This review investigated concerns as to whether there were systemic issues leading to settlement applications by Tier 1 (General) migrants being refused incorrectly.
The Home Office has also published guidance for caseworkers about how these types of application are handled.
