In accordance with the Department for Transport鈥檚 plans following the announcement of the Independent Commission on Civil Aviation Noise (ICCAN), the department has undertaken an independent review of ICCAN鈥檚 first 24 months.

The review and report were conducted:

  • by 2 independent researchers with no connections to the aviation industry or to ICCAN
  • in a qualitative research fashion through interviews and literature reviews
