Health professionals should report all gonorrhoea treatment failures to Public Health England (PHE), as recommended by the . Reporting treatment failure quickly helps improve our understanding of emerging resistance to the cephalosporins.

It鈥檚 also important to confirm treatment failures so PHE can monitor this and provide guidance on the appropriate treatment for gonorrhoea.
