Details

The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) is to close the driving test centre at Purfleet and open a new one in West Thurrock. This is as a result of the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) closing its Purfleet testing facility where DSA us currently based.

DSA considers that driving test candidates and staff won鈥檛 have any significant or detrimental impact on their journeys to the centre, or on its driving test routes.

The new centre is due to open on 1 April 2013 and is easily accessible via the network of main roads in the area. It鈥檚 located 5.7 miles away from the original centre.
