Details

The Constitution Group Analysis Team within Cabinet Office designed a qualitative research project to explore barriers to registering to vote.

We conducted 16 semi-structured interviews with staff members from different Local Authorities and Civil Society Groups to explore what barriers to registration to vote they think exist for people from ethnic minorities. We also explored what, if any, experiences they had in promoting registration amongst these groups.
