This independent review examines the strategic priorities for the development of women鈥檚 football, and reports on the future direction of the women鈥檚 game.
The Fan-Led Review of Football Governance (published November 2021) recommended that there should be a dedicated review into the future of women鈥檚 football, to explore the unique circumstances and opportunities for the women鈥檚 game.
In September 2022, the government launched this review of the future of women鈥檚 football, chaired by former Lioness Karen Carney.
The review鈥檚 terms of reference and call for evidence were published in September 2022.
