Details

On 6 November 2017, the Communities Secretary issued Directions, letters of reasons and an Equality Statement to the London Borough of Waltham Forest regarding its compliance with the Code of Recommended Practice on Local Authority Publicity.

The Directions require the council鈥檚 compliance with the frequency provision of the Code (to publish no more often than quarterly) by 6 February 2018 and to ensure that, within 14 days of the Directions being issued, the authorities take the necessary decisions in order that they are in a position to comply from 6 February 2018.
