This is the government response to the Housing, Communities and Local Government Select Committee鈥檚 sixth report of Session 2019 to 2021 following their inquiry into the impact of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) on homelessness and the private rented sector published on 31 March 2021.

The Committee鈥檚 inquiry considers government support to help rough sleepers, the wider homeless population, renters and landlords during the COVID-19 pandemic, and makes recommendations about future support.
