Role Summary | In this role you will contribute to delivering commercial excellence for your department by supporting procurement business analysis. You will be expected to analyse a wide range of information, data and market research in order to inform commercial options and decisions. You will work as part of a larger team, but will be expected to prioritise and manage your own workload to deliver to deadlines and know when to seek support in order to balance both operationally urgent and important tasks. |
Key Responsibilities | Typically, the key responsibilities in this role will include (but are not limited to): 鈼徛燙ontributing to the collation of data and information to inform commercial models 鈼徛燱orking with internal and external stakeholders to gain insight into market trends e.g. academic research, cross-government functions 鈼徛燙onducting stakeholder needs analysis with support 鈼徛燬upporting the gathering of requirements from across the business in line with market research 鈼徛燙ontributing to the sourcing of new suppliers using market research for on-going tenders 鈼徛燯ndertaking market research and benchmarking through desktop activities and stakeholder engagement in order to help assist the wider procurement team 鈼徛燬upporting pre-market engagement with suppliers 鈼徛燬upporting project management activities to include project planning and risk management |

Procurement Process: 鈼徛燞as a basic understanding of the procurement process and is aware of the public procurement regulations Commercial Focus: 鈼徛燞as a basic understanding of how markets work and how to collect data and information to support commercial activity Risk and Assurance Management: 鈼徛燞as a basic understanding of commercial risks and how mitigation techniques work Commercial Ethics: 鈼徛燞as an understanding of the importance of the standards to eliminate corruption, fraud and unethical behaviour in supply chains Team Focus: 鈼徛燚emonstrates the ability to work as part of a team to support their resilience and performance Build Relationships: 鈼徛燚emonstrates the ability to use different communication styles with different audiences |
