The extra polio booster offer in London has now ended. A catch up campaign in schools for under-vaccinated children in London will launch during the summer term. Further information will be available soon on the Polio collection.

Children remain eligible for their routine polio vaccinations. You can contact your GP surgery or check your child鈥檚 personal child health record (red book) to see if they are up to date with their polio vaccinations. If they are not, you can book an appointment with the GP surgery to get them vaccinated free on the NHS. Find out more about .

Details

All children aged 1 to 9 years in London are being offered a polio vaccination. For some children this may be an extra dose of polio vaccine, on top of their routine vaccinations. In other children it may just bring them up to date.

For the London leaflet please add your borough name and the borough鈥檚 data from the number of under vaccinated children then print and use locally to promote to parents and carers.
