Lord O鈥橲haughnessy informed the Committee of a change to this role in September 2020. He said his work at Imperial鈥檚 Institute of Global Health Innovation, where his Visiting Professorship is based, would be the same as his current role, but it will increase from 3 days per year to 1 day per month. Due to the increase, he had been asked to contribute on a paid basis, where he had previously been unpaid. The Committee considered the expansion of this role did not change its assessment of the risks under the Government鈥檚 Business Appointment Rules and the conditions already imposed on the appointment remain appropriate.
