Details

If you have sent an initial notice of delay form (RTB6) to your landlord they must then either move the sale along within 1 month or send you a 鈥榗ounter notice鈥. The counter notice will say that they鈥檝e already replied or explain why they can鈥檛 speed things up.

If your landlord doesn鈥檛 reply within a month of getting the RTB6, fill in the 鈥榦perative notice of delay鈥 form (RTB8).

This means that any rent you pay while you鈥檙e waiting to hear from your landlord could be taken off the sale price.

See the聽Right to Buy webpages聽for more information and to find out if you鈥檙e eligible.
