This white paper sets out how the MOD will procure technology, equipment, and support to meet the UK鈥檚 defence needs, at a cost which is affordable and represents value for money for the UK taxpayer.

It supersedes the 鈥楧efence industrial strategy 2005鈥� and the 鈥楧efence technology strategy 2006鈥� and was written in collation with responses received from the consultation green paper on 鈥�Equipment, support, and technology for UK defence and security that was published in December 2010.

Presented to Parliament by the Secretary of State for Defence by Command of Her Majesty.
