This inshore Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ) was announced on 31 May 2019.

Wyre-Lune MCZ is an inshore site that covers an area of approximately 92 km虏. It is located in the southern part of Morecambe Bay, Lancashire, in the Irish Sea.
