These instructions should be read in conjunction with the instructions issued by the MCA relating to passenger ships, load-line, fire protection, navigational equipment, lifesaving appliances and oil prevention.
The guidelines do not include SOLAS Chapter V radio equipment such as 鈥楢IS鈥�, 鈥楽SAS鈥� and 鈥楲RIT鈥�, nor 鈥榁MS鈥� for fishing vessels.
