Details
Framework documents are a core constitutional document of arm鈥檚 length bodies and govern the collaborative relationship between the arm鈥檚 length body and the sponsor or shareholder department.
As set out in Managing Public Money Annex 7.2, the template framework document relevant to the arm鈥檚 length body鈥檚 classification should be complied with.
Departures from the template should be clearly signposted, explained and justified. A 鈥渃omply or explain鈥� table should be completed and submitted alongside the draft framework document to HM Treasury when clearance is sought.
