Lord True wrote to Lord Evans on 27 May 2022 regarding the statement of government policy on standards in public life. The government statement responds to the Committee on Standards in Public Life鈥檚 recommendations on reforming the Ministerial Code and the role of the Independent Adviser on Ministers鈥� Interests, as outlined in the Committee鈥檚 Upholding Standards in Public Life report.

Lord Evans responded to the government鈥檚 policy statement in a letter on 30 May 2022.
