This statutory guidance is for:
- employer representative bodies (ERBs)
- further education colleges
- sixth form colleges
- designated institutions
- independent training providers
- higher education institutions
- mayoral combined authorities and the Greater London Authority
- local enterprise partnerships
- local authorities
It sets out:
- the process for developing and reviewing a local skills improvement plan (LSIP), which is led by the designated ERB and in which relevant providers must co-operate
- the duties placed upon relevant providers once there is an approved LSIP in place
