Legionnaires鈥� disease is a severe but uncommon form of pneumonia associated with exposure to water systems (natural or man-made) colonised by legionella bacteria.

This report presents and discusses the epidemiological data on cases of Legionnaires鈥� disease reported in residents of England and Wales where symptoms started during 2015. Comparative data from previous years are included where appropriate.
