This document provides information for health professionals who are dealing with a confirmed or probable case of Legionnaires鈥� disease.
Information is provided on:
- clinical and microbiological case definitions
- category of exposure
- epidemiological definitions of clusters and outbreaks
- travel-associated cases
If a cluster of travel-associated Legionnaires鈥� disease is identified, the risk assessment and findings should be documented using the travel-associated cluster reporting forms.
