This guidance has been jointly produced by the Homes and Communities Agency (now Homes England), the Council of Mortgage Lenders and the National Housing Federation.
It sets out the requirements and procedures that providers of grant-funded shared ownership must conform to.
It will be of use to:
- lenders already actively lending and to those considering lending on shared ownership
- conveyancers who may be instructed to carry out some of the requirements as part of the conveyancing process in first tranche and subsequent tranche sales of a shared ownership property.
