Details

The Inspector鈥檚 report into the death of Mr Naser concluded that he was shot in the head by a single bullet in the Hay Al Muhandiseen neighbourhood of Basra at around 3.30pm on 10 April 2007. At the time UK Forces were engaged in a large-scale counter-insurgency operation resulting in intense fighting. However, the Inspector found that it is not possible to determine by whom Mr Naser was shot.
