These documents explain the Independent聽Police Complaints Commission鈥檚 (IPCC) structure in detail, as well as the salaries of its senior civil servants, as at 30 June 2010.

It includes job title, grade, organisation and salary band.聽

Directors had the option to withhold their name from publication and so names are included for those who consented.

Explanatory notes聽

The following staff are excluded:

  • staff at pay band 1 and pay band 1A where they are at deputy director or equivalent level or below
  • staff on loan or secondment out of the body (regardless of funding arrangement)
  • staff numbers are expressed as full-time equivalents (ie 0.5 full-time equivalent is 2.5 days per week)

Senior staff聽dataset

The salary cost of reports column聽shows the total salary cost of staff working to the chief executive and each director.
