Relatives living in the same household as an Independent Living Fund (ILF) user can only be paid with ILF funding under 鈥榚xceptional鈥� circumstances.

This circular provides guidance for staff, independent assessors, decision makers and ILF users to determine if a case qualifies as exceptional. It also explains how requests should be handled.
