The Atkin鈥檚 鈥楻ail alternatives to HS2 Phase 2a鈥� report provides evidence to support the government鈥檚 consideration of the investment case for HS2 Phase 2a.

This report outlines the process through which rail alternatives were developed, and explains in detail the final options considered as alternatives to Phase 2a.

An economic appraisal of the alternatives is included in the report, as well as an assessment against the strategic objectives for Phase 2a.
