The Home Office response to the Children鈥檚 Commissioner for England report on 鈥榯he impact on children of the minimum income threshold for sponsoring family migrants鈥� dated 9 September 2015.

It made recommendations on the minimum income threshold for sponsoring a non-European Economic Area national spouse or partner and dependent children to come to or remain in the UK under the family Immigration Rules.

The annex to the letter sets out detailed comments on the research on which the report was based.
