1. Postgraduate master鈥檚 loan
The new Postgraduate Master鈥檚 Degree Loan is now available to eligible students starting master鈥檚 courses, in any subject, on or after 1 August 2017. The loan scheme makes 拢10,000 available to students as a contribution towards the costs of their study and can be used for tuition fees and /or living costs.
2. Repayments
From 1 April 2018, there will be an increase in the repayment threshold for undergraduate loans from 拢21,000 to 拢25,000. This will apply to those who have already taken out and will take out loans for tuition and living costs for full-time and part-time undergraduate courses in the post-2012 system.
