This assessment uses the regulator鈥檚 expert-led inspection approach and ratings system.

It analyses inspection and ratings data. The focus is on the quality of health and adult social care services, based on 5 questions on whether the service is:

  • safe
  • effective
  • caring
  • responsive
  • well-led

The report covers:

  • adult social care
  • acute hospitals, community health services and ambulance services
  • mental health
  • primary medical services

It also reports on equality in health and social care and the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
