This report sets out the findings of the Commissioner鈥檚 review and makes recommendations for the improvement of children鈥檚 social care services in Halton.
It follows a聽聽that judged the overall effectiveness of the council鈥檚 children鈥檚 services to be inadequate.
The Department for Education issued a聽statutory direction to Halton Borough Council聽in August 2024 and issued a revised statutory direction in February 2025.
