The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero has a regulatory duty under to determine and publish the maximum levy amount for the Green Gas Levy. This amount is the maximum that can be collected by the levy in any one scheme year.
The maximum levy amount is set at the amount that we expect the GGL to collect in its peak year.
The current maximum levy amount is 拢266,535,560, which we expect to collect in 2036-2037.
