This document sets out the government鈥檚 response to the Climate Change Committee鈥檚 (CCC鈥檚) 2023 report on鈥� and its recommendations on adaptation.听

The government鈥檚 response sets out:

  • detailed responses to each of the CCC鈥檚 94 recommendations, including the priority recommendations identified by the CCC听
  • areas where progress has been made to adapt to climate risks over the last 2 years

This response should be read alongside the government response to the CCC 2023 progress report on reducing emissions.
