This policy statement sets out the government鈥檚 long-term ambition to create a nation more resilient to flood and coastal erosion risk.
The statement has been informed by the:
- Environment Agency鈥檚 consultation exercise on the updated
- results of the government鈥檚 flood and coastal erosion: call for evidence in 2019
- an
- advice from the and the Committee on Climate Change
The Secretary of State for the Environment has written to Sir John Armitt, Chair of the National Infrastructure Commission, about the government鈥檚 policies to create a nation that is more resilient to future flood and coastal erosion risk.
