Details

The national framework sets out the government鈥檚 priorities and objectives for fire and rescue authorities. The government has a duty under the to produce the framework and keep it current. Fire and rescue authorities must have regard to the framework in carrying out their duties.

This version of the framework replaces the version published in 2012.

The act requires the Home Secretary to report every 2 years on fire and rescue authorities鈥� compliance with the framework. Reports from 2014 onwards are available.
