Notes on the application
Following discussion with HMT, the Federation of Small Businesses provided an explanation of the role of the Executive Board (below) as well as an 鈥業nstrument of Management鈥.
The Executive Board under an 鈥榠nstrument of management鈥 have effective day-to-day operation of the executive functions of the organisation. They are able to bind the organisation within the limitations set out in the instrument of management. Their authority is however delegated from the National Council who are the governing body of the organisation. In practice the Executive Board, operating under the remit of the instrument of management, are able to make day-to-day decisions as a body and then report back to National Council every two months.
As such, the FSB have provided CVs of the Executive Management Board for our consideration.
