Each government department publishes the senior responsible owners鈥 (SROs) letters of appointment for their Government Major Projects Portfolio (GMPP). These letters include:

  • date of appointment
  • project deliverables
  • what the SRO is responsible for
  • how long the role is expected to last

The requirement for departments to publish GMPP SRO letters of appointment is in the guidance for officials giving evidence to Parliamentary Select Committees, known as the Osmotherly Rules.
