In 2018 the 拢10m Regulators鈥� Pioneer Fund (RPF) was set up by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) as a competition to promote cutting-edge regulatory practices that help businesses bring innovative products and services to market.

BEIS commissioned Kantar (Public Division) to undertake an independent evaluation of the Fund to:

  • determine the extent to which to which the RPF delivered against its intended goals
  • identify learnings for government and regulators, including for potential future rounds

The publication includes:

  • main findings report summarising the key findings and lessons learned across all projects
  • summaries of the 14 funded projects
  • detailed case studies of individual projects
  • technical report providing detail on the methodology
