Details

Provides an update on implementation of the European Union audit reforms (Directive 2014/56/EU and Regulation No 537/2014). This followed a discussion document that asked for views on a range of reforms to the regulatory framework for statutory audit. On 28 October 2015, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) published a formal consultation on the technical legislative implementation of the EU audit directive and regulation.
