The project aims to improve UK Competition Network (UKCN) members鈥� understanding of the selection, design, testing and evaluation of demand-side remedies.

The documents set out the different options available to regulators to research and test proposed interventions in customer-facing markets. The options discussed include:

  • consumer research
  • laboratory experiments
  • quasi-experimental techniques
  • randomised controlled trials
