This guidance provides advice and general information on the Competition and Markets Authority鈥檚 procedures and assessment in energy network mergers in Great Britain under the Enterprise Act 2002 as amended by the Energy Act 2023.

2 January 2025: updated guidance published聽

The guidance has been updated to reflect the changes introduced by the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 which commenced on 1 January 2025.
